Jon Ransom is the author of The Whale Tattoo, winner of the Polari First Book Prize 2023, named a Guardian Best Fiction of 2022, and has recently been optioned by Wild Nest Pictures. Ransom’s second novel, The Gallopers, has been shortlisted for the Polari Book Prize 2024. He grew up in Norfolk and now lives near Cambridge.
